Bus Network Redesign
Since 2015, the City of Edmonton has been designing a new bus network within the city. This new design will be rolling out in 2019. You may visit their website for detailed information on the project.
The interactive bus network map is a useful tool to explore the new routes.

Walking Distance Map
Most if Inglewood will remain within 200 meters of a bus stop. A portion in the north west being more than 200 meters (light pink) and two small sections along 116 Ave being > 400 meters away.
This does not take into account the bus stops along route A305, which only runs Saturday to Friday every 60 minutes. Excluding this route, the pink and dark pink area would cover most of 117 ave – 115 ave across the whole neighbourhood.
For reference, a standard city block in Inglewood is about 177 m by 115 m ( 580 ft x 375 ft).
Individual Routes
Route 5
Westmount to Downtown to Colosseum
This route will be replaced by route F1, and will remain essentially the same route. It will operate at a 10-minute frequency during peak hours instead of 7/8 minutes the 5 currently does
Route 3
Jasper Place to downtown via 118 ave and 107 ave
Route 3 does not have a direct replacement, and 124 St. north of 114 Ave no longer has bus service.
The new W3 route is the best replacement going west along 118 Ave, and south on 156 St. to Jasper Place.
The new A305 will take you downtown at the along the same route, but only at 60 min frequency instead of 30 min. Other alternatives are the F1, F6 –> F5, or F1 –> W1.
Route 305
Neighborhood collector to Westmount to Jasper Gates
Route A305 will follow roughly the same route and frequency between Inglewood and Westmount Centre as the existing 305.
If you wish to continue southwest to Jasper Gates, the new W4 route to 142 St, and the new C2 route to Jasper Gates can be accessed from Westmount Centre.
Route 12
Northgate to Kingsway to Downtown
Route 12 does not appear to have a direct replacement.
Heading south, the new W3 will get you to Kingsway LRT station to continue downtown on the LRT, or SW1. The Royal Alex Hospital is next door, and Victoria School is 500m away walking.
Heading North, the N3 will take you to Eaux Claires transit center, but a transfer will be required to get to Northgate
Route 125
Jasper Place to Westmount to Kingsway, Stadium, Colosseum, Belvedere.
The W9 follows roughly the same route to Jasper Place although you will need to find another way to Westmount, since the W9 doesn’t go down 111 ave.
The F6 will follow the same route east along 111 ave, but only until the Stadium. There is no bus that follows the LRT line northeast to Belvedere, and you will have to take the LRT from the Stadium
Route 128
Castle Downs to Westmount, and Westmount to Government Centre
Going north to Castle Downs, your best bet is taking the new C1, although the route taken is slightly different.
Towards downtown, the F1 is your best choice, but it does not take you all the way to Government Centre.
Route 122
Westmount to West Edmonton Mall (Peak Only)
Routes W6 and W7 follow roughly the same routes and are suitable replacements.
Route 124
Westmount to Northgate (Peak only)
Routes W5 and C2 follow roughly the same course to Northgate, and are suitable replacements.
