Inglewood Supportive Housing

The City of Edmonton is proposing the development of a 5-storey (30 unit) supportive housing development in Inglewood at the location of 12312 112 Avenue. This development will provide people who have experienced homeless with the support, safety, and stability they need to lead healthy and connected lives through on-site staff and wraparound services.

The City wants to hear from you! They are planning a series of community engagement opportunities over the course of this summer to solicit community feedback on the project. These opportunities will include online surveys, digital community round tables, and larger format public engagement sessions. If you are interested in participating in the engagement process email supportivehousing@edmonton.ca or click on the link below to sign up for email updates and complete a survey.

Inglewood Book Club

We’re starting a virtual book club to meet monthly on Zoom! The titles for the first two meetings are related to Anti-Racist messages and themes. We hope to have a constructive & guided dialog based on these books to help make our community even stronger!

Inglewood Cleanup & Trashy Photo Contest!

Our annual neighbourhood Clean-Up will be done with social distancing in mind as a choose-your-own-adventure! From now until May 18th, residents are encouraged to pick up litter independently in their own areas of the neighbourhood.

You don’t have supplies, we can deliver a limited number of clean up kits to your doorsteps, or you can request one directly from the City of Edmonton by calling 311. To participate, first read the City of Edmonton guidelines and contact sustainability@inglewoodcl.com to request a clean up kit delivery!

Keep these precautions in mind when picking up litter and trash in the neighbourhood:

  • Wear gloves
  • Wash hands regularly with soap and water or hand sanitizer
  • Disinfect the litter grabber or any other tool used before and after use, and store it in a safe location
  • Secure and dispose of all litter and garbage bags in appropriate disposal locations
  • Report needles, graffiti or other hazardous litter by calling 311

Trashy Photo Contest

Share a photo of yourself picking up trash, and you will be entered into a draw to win a piece of original artwork from a local Inglewood artist!
